XCOMM is giving new life to the hardcore punk genre one insane live performance at a time, and today they prove their vigor with their “Pirates” idobi Session. XCOMM is the most interesting new band to come out of the last year. Comprised of five members ranging in age from fourteen to twenty years old, you’d never be able to guess that unless you saw them. Even then, it only makes their talent and grit all the more impressive.
The hardcore scene desperately needed new sounds, voices, and verve, and XCOMM is kicking the doors down with a new wave of energy. The group praises their inspirations and has immense respect for the pioneers of the genre. However, to keepo the genre alive they understand the importance of offering something fresh. XCOMM is fresh in all the right ways.
