Anxious just dropped their new single “Some Girls” from their forthcoming record Bambi. The sophomore LP, which is due out February 21 via Run For Cover Records, also features their previous singles “Counting Sheep” and “Head & Spine.”

Needless to say, Anxious is dynamic in every sense of the word. The Connecticut emo act effortlessly weaves in and out of indie-rock-inspired vocals and garage-rock guitar melodies in the new track. However, across their discography, they have a sound that appeals to everyone, whether you prefer soft indie or are a certified metalhead. (They just performed at Better LoversBLissmas alongside the likes of Converge.)

“Some Girls” offers sunny sonics, though the lyrics tell a more serious story. “When all your seasons waned I told your sun/I wanna be remade while I’m still so young/While people lose their shape, I hold you still,” vocalist Grady Allen sings.
