The Dangerous Summer is taking part in New Music Friday with a reimagined rendition of their song “Fuck Them All.” Originally released on their EP All That Is Left Of The Blue Sky, the new version takes the form of a lively piano ballad. Incorporating the song’s original guitar swells and AJ Perdomo’s powerful vocal performance, the stripped-down arrangement gives the lyrics more space to shine. “Fuck Them All” is about saying goodbye to the negative voices around you and taking your moment when you can.
Perdomo shares the reasoning behind wanting to reimagine this track, exclusively with idobi Radio.
“‘Fuck Them All (Reimagined)’ came out of our need for a more stripped-down version of the track,” he says. “It really opens up the song and gives it a more cinematic and beautiful feeling. Matt and I stripped back all of the instrumentation and rebuilt it from the bottom up. Really can’t wait for people to hear it in a different context. A great song can wear many outfits and still drive the feeling home.”

“Fuck Them All (Reimagined)” is the third track that the band has arranged in a new and exciting light. Teasing their upcoming EP, Come Along (Reimagined), the band announced the new project with pop-infused versions of “The Best Part Of Letting Go” and “Come Along.” Will Beasley and Paul Leavitt helped produce and mix the tracks, as they originally did on the band’s 2022 LP Coming Home. Perdomo and Beasley worked on the new collection of songs at The Bakery Recording Studio in Richmond, VA.
The Dangerous Summer shows no signs of slowing down. Listen to all three singles here and stay tuned for what’s to come.
