RESOLVE are one of those bands that you never quite know what you are going to get. Pushing the boundaries of European post-hardcore into technological and technical new places, their music pulsates with a robotic and neon glaze. Questioning our relationship with the things we create and just how sentient they may become, their journey is one that poses as many questions as it answers. And their latest expedition is here in the form of their second full-length album.
The album is going to be called Human and will be released on September 15 via Arising Empire. The tracklisting looks like this:

The band have also shared the opening track, which is also the title track. A hulking, bludgeoning piece of metalcore majesty, it demonstrates the band at their most hot and heavy. But below the surface, it serves as a manifesto for the whole record. Questioning existence and blurring the lines between man and machine, it’s a profound and powerful message that sets the tone wonderfully.
Bassist Robin Mariat had this to say about it:
“Human is a very important track to us. From the moment Anthony [vocalist and primary songwriter] first played us the original demo in his room, it was obvious that we had something very special here. So much so, that we decided to make it the title track of the second album! It’s a very industrial vibe, which is a direction that we haven’t explored much in the past, but what I’m particularly pleased with is the fact that it 100% retains the Resolve essence, with titanic breakdowns and melodies.
“It’s probably our most cinematic track yet, though, which is something I’m sure a lot of fans will be very happy about, and very Isaac Asimov-inspired. Telling the tale of a humanoid being, half clone, half robot, that questions everything about its existence, its consciousness… just like we, Humans, do.”

The album will also feature the previously released “Death Awaits” and “Move To Trash”. RESOLVE will also be hitting the road in Europe over the next few months with a selection of festival appearances and headline shows. Here are all the dates you need to know:
