Paledusk Sign To SharpTone Records, Release Insane New Track

Paledusk are the latest band to join the SharpTone Records family, one of alternative music’s most varied and volatile rosters. And based on what they are capable of, that variety and volatility has intensified tenfold.

To celebrate, they have also shared a new song, which is absolutely fucking insane. It’s called “I’m ready to die for my friends”, and runs between glistening pop, intense post-hardcore, crushing metalcore, cutesy kawaii and straight-up country effortlessly. Catchy as it comes, sporadically baffling and absolutely undeniable, it is the work of a band pushing the limits of not just what they are capable of but what the scene as a whole is built on. It also features an appearance from close friend and member of the Japanese pop trio Hentai Shinshi Club, who adds an extra layer of brilliance to the party.

Turn it on, listen, rewind and listen again, then listen to it for the third time just to make sure you have your head around it.

If you enjoyed that, here’s some more of the Paledusk’s previous output to get stuck into.
