After releasing singles “Suffocate” featuring Poppy, “Don’t Reach For Me,” and “Blinding Faith,” Knocked Loose have officially released their third studio album, You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To via Pure Noise Records.
On social media, the band noted, “After 5 years, our 3rd LP is available everywhere now. We’ve never worked harder on anything. Please enjoy ‘You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To.’ It’s yours.”
The record is already raking in perfect album reviews, and for good reason. With heavy-hitting, introspective lyrics, crushing chords, insidious riffs, and overwhelmingly vicious vocals from frontman Bryan Garris, the LP just reached a new level of metal greatness. Consider it AOTY already, TBH.

Plus, for all those fans waiting for the follow-up to “Slaughterhouse,” you can officially heighten your senses to “Slaughterhouse 2” featuring Chris Motionless. On release day, Chris Motionless posted, “Getting the call from @BryanGarris_ about doing SH2 was actually unbelievable and one of the most uniquely awesome moments of my musical life. Very honored to be a part of it. Love watching you take over the world right now!”
“On this album, we go the fastest we’ve ever gone; we go the scariest we’ve ever gone. We also go the catchiest and the most melodic that we’ve ever gone, and that’s the point,” guitarist Isaac Hale said. “Instead of branching off into a specific direction, we want to encompass ALL directions.”
Additionally, in a recent Kerrang! interview, Garris revealed a little more about why the band chose to display a cross on their album art and write tracks such as “Blinding Faith.” “Of course, religion is something I’ve always struggled with, questioned, had my doubts about. I’ve talked about it a lot over the history of the band,” he says in the interview. “But this cross can symbolize anything that constantly towers over you and pulls you back in. It can mean death. It can mean depression. It can mean addiction. Whatever your big glowing cross might be.” Read the full interview here.
