Ahead of their forthcoming co-headline tour kicking off this summer on July 9 in Raleigh, NC, Halestorm and I Prevail have unleashed their crushing new collaborative single, “can u see me in the dark?”
“In celebration of our upcoming tour together, we joined forces with the boys of I Prevail and wrote an original song together,” Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale shares. “‘can u see me in the dark?’ is written for our collective fan bases, our community, our family. We want you to know that you are seen, and you are not alone, shining through life’s myriad of joy and pain. We can’t wait to feast our eyes on you this summer!”
“We’re excited to finally have a song come out,” I Prevail vocalist Eric Vanlerberghe adds. “It was a fun challenge to blend the Halestorm and I Prevail sounds together. We really focused on creating a music bed that felt very much I Prevail and letting Lzzy just shine and do what she does best. I feel we found a very sick way to blend the two identities of our bands into one massive song. I’m really looking forward to this tour and possibly playing this song live together for everyone.”

Opening with a haunting piano arrangement and Hale’s delicate whispers, the track quickly evolves as Vanlerberghe’s powerful vocals seamlessly intertwine with hers. This ethereal beginning sets the stage for a dramatic build-up, leading to an explosive peak where the commanding instrumentation of the collective bands takes charge. The synergy between the vocalists and the intense, layered music creates a pummelling soundscape. “can u see me in the dark?” will no doubt cause a stir when I Prevail and Halestorm bring it to the live stage this summer.
Joining I Prevail and Halestorm across their co-headline tour this summer as support will be Hollywood Undead and Fit For A King. You can check out their full touring schedule below and grab tickets here.
