We know you’ve been counting down the days, and after much anticipation (five years, to be exact), FIDLAR has released their new full album SURVIVING THE DREAM. Featuring singles “DOWN N OUT,” “FIX ME,” “GET OFF MY WAVE,” “NUDGE,” and “SAD KIDS,” the band dazzles across all 13 tracks with breezy surf rock beats, punk-laced choruses, and classic DIY edge.

In tandem with the record launch, FIDLAR also unveiled a new music video for their dreamy album closer, “HURT,” which showcases sweet moments from the band on their travels.

Overall, vocalist Zac Carper details, “This record is about doubling down on what you love. For us, it’s about playing shows and making music. Coming back after a few years away, our intention was to self-make an album that the 3 of us are stoked on. We’re very very very pumped on it and what’s to come. These songs are meant to be heard live with the fellow FIDIOTS going off.”

In a recent Los Angeles Times interview, Carper shared how the band feels refreshed by their dynamic, ever-evolving fan base. “I just think more people are doing drugs, and now these 16- to 20-year-old kids are connecting with us because they feel like ‘What is happening in my head?’ People are more f— up earlier now,” Carper told LA Times. “Those kids have given us a new burst of energy, because if we only had the same fans from when we first started, they’d be the old dudes in the back nursing a beer by the soundboard and wanting to sit down. They don’t buy merch or run up to the front or push the dude that’s filming on his phone.”
