Following the release of “DOWN N OUT,” “FIX ME,” “GET OFF MY WAVE,” and “NUDGE,” FIDLAR is back with their new single “SAD KIDS.” The tracks are all set to appear on their forthcoming LP SURVIVING THE DREAM—their first record since 2019’s Almost Free—which arrives on September 20.

Best known for their thrilling punk-studded surf rock sonics, FIDLAR crafts a stunning offering in “SAD KIDS” that was well worth the wait. The sunny indie song is the track for all the party gals, guys, and theys.

In a recent Los Angeles Times interview, the lead vocalist Zac Carper shared how they feel refreshed by they dynamic, ever-evolving fan base. “I just think more people are doing drugs, and now these 16- to 20-year-old kids are connecting with us because they feel like ‘What is happening in my head?’ People are more f— up earlier now,” Carper told LA Times. “Those kids have given us a new burst of energy, because if we only had the same fans from when we first started, they’d be the old dudes in the back nursing a beer by the soundboard and wanting to sit down. They don’t buy merch or run up to the front or push the dude that’s filming on his phone.”

This summer, FIDLAR is co-headlining dates in Australia with Dune Rats before headlining fall tour dates throughout North America. Check out their massive list of stops below and secure tickets here.
