The film anticipated to be the summer’s biggest blockbuster, just got even more exhilarating. Yesterday, Marvel Studios announced the tracklist for Deadpool & Wolverine, featuring the beloved Green Day track “Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life).” Jokingly entitled Deadpool & Wolverine Van Jamz, the tracklist also features songs from Avril Lavigne, Fergie, and *NSYNC.
If you’ve seen any prior Deadpool movies, you may have expected a great soundtrack to accompany this film. Oldies but goodies are inherent to Deadpool’s character, often seen juxtaposing gruesome, action-packed fight scenes with iconic feel-good songs. With Ryan Reynolds acting as a co-wroter for Deadpool & Wolverine, we can only assume he had a hand in picking out select tracks for the film. When asked about it, Reynolds said that Deadpool & Wolverine is the “best movie I’ve ever done.”

The full tracklist is wall-to-wall nostalgic jams that make the movie worth seeing for the music alone. If the promise of Green Day, Avril Lavigne, *NSYNC, or Stray Kids, and The Goo Goo Dolls featured throughout this summer’s biggest and baddest cinematic blockbuster doesn’t excite you, who knows what will?
Deadpool & Wolverine arrives in theatres next week on July 26. Check out the full 18-song soundtrack below.
