The time has come; the Vans Warped Tour just released their last ever cross country line-up.
idobi photographer Maysa Askar covered the last couple of Florida dates (Orlando and West Palm Beach) on the Vans Warped Tour.
Savage Hands formed in the wake of defunct bands in the Virginia and Maryland area. In 2018, they released their first EP Barely Alive through SharpTone Records. Since then, they’ve released a full length record, The Truth in Your Eyes, and toured with the likes of Wage War, Being As An Ocean, Currents, and Dayseeker, to name a few. That brings us to their latest release, their new EP Rock Bottom.
Sleep Theory hop on the reimagination train with their new version of their song, “Fallout.” Departing from the original nu-metalcore, hard rock sound, the act flexes their ability to be somber, yet vulnerable while still encompassing the full power of the track. A lyric video with a single lavender flower stands wavering, yet strong in front of a destroyed cityscape, which emphasizes the meaning behind the song. “Go and keep your distance/As you fall to pieces/In your toxic madness” ends the track with heartbreaking, pain-filled vocals from singer Cullen Moore. For metal and heavy rock fans of the Midwest, today is a big announcement day. Sonic Temple Festival 2024 officially shared their lineup for their upcoming event. Taking place May 16-19, festival-goers can see a major fest at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus. Of course, the headliners are worth the travel and ticket price alone.
