Sleep Theory Strips Down “Gone Or Staying” At idobi Radio Studios

Sleep Theory Gone or Staying WEB HEADER

Featured on their debut EP Paper Hearts which arrived in September 2023, Sleep Theory dropped by the idobi Radio Studios in Los Angeles, CA, to perform one of their breakout singles, “Gone Or Staying.”

Opening with a vibrant array of acoustic guitar strums and soft percussion, the band—comprised of vocalist Cullen Moore, guitarist Daniel Pruitt, bassist Paolo Vergara, and drummer Ben Pruitt—brings a fresh perspective to “Gone Or Staying.” With little to no effort, Cullen Moore’s vocal delivery fills the studio space, dancing between his soulful range and the alternative soundscape of the instrumentation. As Paolo Vergara’s voice intertwines with Moore’s, an added layer of heightened emotion emerges, elevating the track’s depth and theme. Together, Vergara and Moore’s voices masterfully become the centerpiece of the song, creating a harmonious blend that captivates the listener from start to finish.

“‘Gone Or Staying’ is a special song to us as a band,” the four-piece shared at the time of the track’s video release earlier this year in May. Check out Sleep Theory’s acoustic rendition of “Gone Or Staying” below.
