Sleep Theory Reimagines Their Chart-Topping Single “Numb” At idobi Radio Studios

Sleep Theory Numb WEB HEADER

After releasing several variations of their chart-topping single “Numb,” including a rendition featuring Tim Spencer, Sleep Theory stopped by the idobi Radio Studios in Los Angeles, CA, to perform a stripped-back acoustic take on the group’s most streamed single to date.

Allowing each member of Sleep Theory to shine, the band—comprised of vocalist Cullen Moore, guitarist Daniel Pruitt, bassist Paolo Vergara, and drummer Ben Pruitt—opens their performance through a series of delicate acoustic strums that set the stage for an intimate atmosphere in the idobi Radio Studios. Moore’s enthralling vocal delivery quickly captures the spotlight, drawing listeners in with his emotive presence. As the performance unfolds, Vergara’s and Moore’s voices entangle seamlessly, enhancing the stripped-down rendition of “Numb.”

Their acoustic performance brings a raw, unfiltered energy to the song, highlighting the depth, emotion, and vulnerability that make the original so powerful. Check out Sleep Theory’s acoustic rendition of “Numb” below, and be sure to tune in later in the week to hear their stripped-back performance of “Gone Or Staying.”

Sleep Theory is scheduled to perform at Capulet Fest on June 28. Later this summer in July, the group will perform at Rock Fest and Upheaval Fest, and then MMR*B*Q and WRIF Riff Fest in September. You can check out their full touring schedule below and purchase tickets to the band live here.
