Jane Carter, the 44-year-old mother of pop singers Aaron Carter and Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, was arrested and charged with battery in an alleged attack on her estranged husband’s girlfriend, Ginger Elrod. The alleged incident took place the evening of Tuesday, January 13th at Robert Carter’s Marathon, Florida home. The Lynyrd Skynyrd/Sammy Hagar “Party Of A Lifetime” tour has come to an end, as Skynyrd has pulled out of the remaining dates due to guitarist Gary Rossington’s health. Rossington had open-heart surgery in February and was cleared to tour in support of their new album Vicious Cycle. However, Skynyrd dropped some shows in recent days because of Rossington’s medical fatigue, and they’ve now scrapped the rest of the coheadlining tour, after Rossington was diagnosed as having suffered a mild seizure.
