Fame On Fire Covers “Dear Maria, Count Me In” For Hopeless Records 30th Anniversary


In honor of Hopeless Records turning 30, Fame On Fire has covered All Time Low’s “Dear Maria, Count Me In” for the label’s Hopelessly Devoted To You compilation album. The song originally appeared on  All Time Low’s 2007 LP So Wrong, It’s Right. The compilation will also boast The Wonder Years’ cover of Thrice’s “Deadbolt,” Point North’s cover of Avenged Sevenfold’s “Unholy Confessions,” NOAHFINNCE‘s rendition of Waterparks‘ “I Miss Having Sex But at Least I Don’t Wanna Die Anymore,” Bayside‘s reworking of The Weakerthans‘ “Aside,” and LØLØ‘s cover of New Found Glory‘s “Vicious Love.” Plus, most recently,  Hey Violet and Jayden Seeley (ex-With Confidence) covered Yellowcard‘s “Hang You Up.” Additionally, a vinyl release of Hopelessly Devoted To You is set for December 6.… Read more »

Alexisonfire inherited the screamo crown of Canada this year, knocking it right off the emotionally hardcore heads of their peers. Their sophomore disc, Watch Out!, which the band describes as sounding like “two Catholic high-school girls in mid-knife-fight,” went gold in under three months, even though the band received little radio play.
