After releasing their single “Sour” in early May, Sydney’s premier pop-rockers Yours Truly are back with an energetic new single, “California Sober.” The band shares, “‘California Sober’ was written during the same period as ‘Sour.’ We’d started working on ‘Sour’ [and] we were getting nowhere with it. The Dangerous Summer is gearing up to release their full-length album Gravity, which arrives on June 21 via Rude Records. On the same day, they’re kicking off a major North American tour. As the sun was setting over the Rose Bowl on May 13, nostalgic indie rock filled the Southern California air. Just Like Heaven, the single-day indie rock festival was in full swing across two stages in Pasadena’s canyons.
