Acclaimed metallic rock act ATREYU have announced plans for a headlining tour in support of their upcoming Hollywood Records debut, Lead Sails Paper Anchor. The much-buzzed-about album arrives in stores on August 28th and the tour begins September 9th at the Big Easy in Boise, ID, with openers Haste The Day, It Dies Today plus a special guest to be announced. This week I have Tyler Fortney who is a musical director, songwriter, and a producer. He’s worked with bands like: The Neighbourhood, She Wants Revenge, The Wanted, Atreyu, Almost Monday etc… I met him when he first played bass for band American Eyes and we talk about how far he’s come in his career this week and what he has coming up!
It was my first show after graduating high school—my live music experience at that point consisted of worship bands at my small-town church or dad rock cover bands at the county fair.
