KennyHoopla & Travis Barker Collab On New 3-Track Capsule EP

Following the release of his latest offerings “SABOTAGE//” and “YOU NEEDED A HIT//,” KennyHoopla and longtime collaborator, Travis Barker, have partnered up once again for a 3-track capsule project release titled, BLINK AND YOU’LL MISS IT//.  Across the release, KennyHoopla‘s edgy, genre-blending sound and Barker‘s powerhouse drumming skills culminate in an explosive climax. Standout single “MARRY KILL F*CK//” epitomizes KennyHoopla’s raw energy and infectious punk-rock spirit while calling back to a handful of pop-punk references including one to Barker’s bandmate Tom DeLonge through the line, “And everyone is recommending me their therapist/They believe in God/Don’t believe in aliens.” Read more:… Read more »

The Used set to release 'Artwork'

The Used is proud to announce that its fourth album, Artwork, will be released on Sept. 1. Produced by Matt Squire, Artwork is a raw collection of 11 songs that not so delicately teeter between aggressively discordant and charmingly hooky. The first single, “Blood On My Hands,” premiered June 30; it sold over 5,000 copies in the first day and shot to No. 9 on the iTunes Alternative Chart. “‘Blood on my Hands’ sums up everything about The Used,” guitarist Quinn Allmann said. Thrice Educate, Give Fans 'All That's Left' With Major-Label Debut

The backstage area of this year’s Vans Warped Tour often resembled a punk-rock frat party, according to Thrice frontman Dustin Kensrue. There was plenty of partying and more than a few juvenile practical jokes perpetrated by the bands and their crews. Such situations can be flat-out dangerous, and sometimes injuries ensue. A few weeks ago, Thrice drummer Riley Breckenridge damaged his back while reaching under the band’s bus. Was he looking for water balloons filled with sour milk to throw at the members of Pennywise? Nope. He was trying to remove his suitcase from the storage compartment, and in the… Read more »
