Punk poet Patti Smith and Split Enz veteran Tim Finn lead the lineup of musicians performing at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah (January 17-27). DETROIT — The White Stripes drummer Meg White is engaged to Jackson Smith, the son of punk legend Patti Smith, a publicist for the band confirmed. The couple will wed later this year, publicist Chloe Walsh added. The White Stripes got their start in Detroit and are fronted by Jack White. Though Meg and Jack White have claimed to be siblings, court records have suggested they were married for four years before divorcing in 2000.
