Metalcore Aussies, The Amity Affliction, has announced their spring North American tour. Across the tour, they’ll be playing Let The Ocean Take Me in full to mark the album’s 10th anniversary, which received its initial release on June 6, 2014, in Australia. Currents, Dying Wish, and Mugshot will join them as support. The 31-show run starts in San Diego on April 26 and goes through June 6, ending in Los Angeles, CA. Say WHAT?! So What?! Music Festival is back and has announced its 2024 lineup. It rages on June 1 and 2 with Underoath and Skillet as headliners. Boys Like Girls, Silverstein, and The Amity Affliction, along with others, will play at the Fort Worth, TX festival at Panther Island Pavilion. Tickets go on sale Thursday, January 25, at 12 PM CST. Mixing EDM and metalcore is on the rise. The Amity Affliction is the most recent artist to jump on this trend and has reimagined their song “Show Me Your God” with DJ PROBLM CHLD. The bouncy trance, sometimes dubstep-esqe beat, is a different way to listen to the Australian act. The Nashville-based punk rock label, Pure Noise Records has announced the second installment of their Dead Formats compilation albums. Dead Formats Vol. 2 will see many bands from the Pure Noise Records roster covering classic songs across the punk and rock genres. The album will drop on September 15th and holds an impressive fifteen tracks in total. So far, three tracks have dropped.
