This week we welcome Moxy The Band to discuss their debut album, Dream Feeling. I love the album, and Amber DeLaRosa, Michael Franzino, and Dryw Owens were kind enough to walk me through some of my favorite songs and reflect on the writing process. As veterans in the music industry, it was beautiful to hear how they came together and the special relationship they forged in the process. I can’t wait for you all to fall in love with Moxy The Band! Enjoy the episode, and please share it with a friend.
Adrian Young has re-entered the building! So stoked to have the No Doubt madman back on the show. This time he’s on the other side of the recording console with the Moxy Bros, his 2 man production team that he shares with Todd Forman! Tune in to hear how this new legendary chapter has unfolded. Nelly had a fair amount of success earlier this fall when he suckered his fans into buying not one, but two new albums on the same day: the party-pumping Sweat and the slow-jammin’ Suit. You’ve got to have some moxy to pull off the two separate albums released on the same day trick (Guns N’ Roses and Tom Waits – who’ve both pulled it off – aren’t exactly your typical artists). If anything, Bright Eyes’ Conor Oberst has moxy. The indie rock heartthrob will not only release two albums on the same day (January 25), but he’s planning to launch… Read more »
