Coachella is suing non-profit protest group, Moechella, accusing them of profiting over the use of their name and a similar logo. Moechella hosts a concert series and supports peaceful protesting, founded in DC after a local Metro PCS store started getting complaints about the go-go music it was playing over its speakers. Despite the promotion of peace, there have been violent incidents during some of Moechella’s events, including one last year when a 15-year-old boy was killed after a shooting broke out.
