In typical My Chemical Romance fashion, they just released a cryptic video, and this time, it’s satirizing old-school game shows with “Quizzo.” Some fans are taking this as a sign of more Long Live The Black Parade international tour dates to come.
The Quizzo show host asks, “Who will be the next lucky country to win the grand prize of one nuclear winter?” One contestant helped reveal, “Congratulations, United Kingdom!”
Fans on Reddit are convinced that a UK leg is imminent, and they’re hopeful that there will be a handful of shows around the country. “If this is a UK tour, I really hope they go somewhere else not Milton Keynes this time,” one user posted.
Other Reddit users are hoping this will coincide with dates across Europe as well, and others are hoping Australia gets some love, too. While the video does not confirm UK dates, the band is certainly not denying it either. So, congrats, United Kingdom, you might win a “nuclear winter” courtesy of My Chemical Romance.
The Long Live The Black Parade Tour will feature a variety of special guests that include IDLES, Death Cab For Cutie, and more. My Chemical Romance is also set to headline the Shaky Knees event this year alongside Deftones and blink-182. Check out their tour dates below.
