Monday night, CHVRCHES made their return to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for the live performance debut of their latest release “Over.” The new single marks the group’s first release since their 2021 full-length collection, Screen Violence. The glimmering synth-pop track showcases lead singer Lauren Mayberry’s dynamic and captivating presence while offering the catchiness of their previous releases. Today Flycatcher are breathing a new life into the New Jersey indie scene with the release of their brand new EP Stunt. The collection of songs is produced by the Grammy-nominated, Will Yip. Yip deemed the project so memorable he practically signed the band to his label, Memory Music, on first listen. The quartet is made up of Greg Pease(vocals), Justin VanNiekerk(guitar), Jack Delle Cava(bass) and Connor Carmelengo(drums). The classic punk-rock track which assisted in launching the Descendents into fame was featured on their sophomore album I Don’t Want to Grow Up. Drain’s rendition of “Good Good Things” captures a similar essence as the Descendents’ version, albeit with a more modern punk twist that showcases vocalist Sammy Ciaramitaro’s melodic prowess.
