As if Dolly Parton launching a 30-track rock album on November 17 wasn’t exciting enough, the artist recently released even more bonus tracks. Parton teamed up with Italy’s own Måneskin for a reimagining of the iconic “Jolene.” On November 19, Parton took to Instagram to post a behind-the-scenes video of the new rock version of “Jolene.” On top of working with one of music’s most legendary stars, Måneskin also shared a new music video during the holiday week for “TRASTEVERE” on November 23. UK punkers The Menstrual Cramps have released their new single, “Body Politics,” and signed to Alcopop! Records. The band also announced headline shows in the new year, including Manchester Punk Fest, Outer Town Festival, and 2000 Trees. The song is based on a deeper political meaning of bodily autonomy and identity. This weekend, Green Day played the greatest halftime show of the year, and no, it wasn’t at an American football game. The “Basket Case” artists headed to Hamilton, Ontario to play during the Canadian Football League (CFL) championship game, otherwise known as the Grey Cup.
