More than 10 years after the iconic Bamboozle festival packed away their gear for the last time in 2012, we now have day-to-day lineup details for their 2023 event (cue our uncontrollable excitement)! In January, Bamboozle announced their lineup via an old-school, faux Myspace page. Rather than leaning into the nostalgic emo era Myspace was famous for, the lineup includes a plethora of genres and performances. After revealing the lineup for their annual Christmas Burns Red holiday weekend concert series in September, August Burns Red has just added one final addition to the already stacked lineup: Invent Animate. Invent Animate is set to appear on the first night alongside acts Currents, Callous Daoboys, and beyond. The event is set to take place on both December 12 and 13 in their hometown of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, at Freedom Hall in the Lancaster County Convention Center. Just one week out from the glorious return of Bamboozle Festival after a 10-year hiatus, the festival has announced its decision to cancel the May 5-7 event. This year’s 2023 fest would mark Bamboozle Festival’s 20th anniversary and had scheduled performances from some of the largest names across an array of genres. Today the festival deleted their twitter account, along with all posts on their Instagram. In regards to the cancellation, they quickly uploaded a statement to instagram.
