This week The Rockstar Dad Show has not one but two Gary’s when Teen Mom’s Gary Shirley calls in to chat with the hosts.
After twelve years on camera with Teen Mom and 16 and Pregnant, Gary has lived a lot of his life on a television screen—and so have his girls. Listen in as he introduces us to Leah and Emilee and chats about watching them grow up on camera.
He also gives us a glimpse into the family’s personal life, from online schooling to their pie-making operation. He chats with the guys about farming and gardening, music, YouTube, and more.
It’s time for another episode of The Rockstar Dad Show, so turn up the speakers and dive into conversation with Jaret and Gary.
This week, the guys are talking about the convenience of technology and Bowling For Soup’s new series Shot Out Of A Cannon. Of course they have plenty more to discuss, like a fear of birds and writing a tell all book.
Later, they welcome wrestler Brimstone to the air. Listen in as he introduces us to his family and talks about coping through coronavirus, mental health, and Seymour the Unfortunate Vampire.
The Rockstar Dad Show is inviting a rockstar family to the air this week! Listen in as Rick, Miles, and Daxx Nielsen join Jaret and Gary for a conversation.
As the lead guitarist of Cheap Trick, Rick Nielsen has lived an interesting life and his sons have followed in his footsteps with their own careers in music. Daxx is a drummer who’s played with many bands over the years, including with Cheap Trick. Miles is the frontman of a band called Mike Nielsen and The Rusted Hearts (more on that in a bit).
When the group calls in they look back at their history both personal and professional, from stories about Guns n’ Roses to family dynamics while touring. They also chat about The Nielsen Trust, quarantining with kids, being versatile with your music and more. Tune in and make sure you stick around until the end to hear “Hands Up” by Miles’s band!
This week we chinwag about what we were doing as musicians at the young age of 12. Afterward we chat with Anastasia Grace, singer of The Haunt.
The sibling fronted group based out of South Florida merges genres of alternative, indie, rock & roll, garage, and blues. 17 year old Anastasia has been performing live since the age of 9, complimented by her older brother, Maxamillion. Anastasia tells us about her experiences in middle school, which lead to a viral hit song that she wrote entitled “All Went Black”. She also tells us about her experience on the road, opening for Palaye Royale, and much more!

Hands Like Houses’s new self-titled EP is certainly a departure from their Metalcore roots.
Are you ready for another episode of The Rockstar Dad Show? You better be, because Jaret and Gary have plenty to chat with you about this week.
Listen in as the guys talk the realities of divorce and co-parenting. They’ll also dig into the flipside—wedding planning and Jaret’s #lifehack for cutting costs. Plus, they talk reality TV, Survivor on VHS, and Costco.
Later Dave Hause calls in to tell us about his career, from starting off with Sick Of It All and The Bouncing Souls to his band The Loved Ones. The father of twins also tells us about finding out he’s about to be a dad to two, balancing life and touring, and making a cover album.
Some albums invoke nostalgia—beabadoobee’s Fake It Flowers reinvents it.
Listen Up! This time on episode 755, Tyson Kelly joins the show to talk about his new EP: Plastic Rockstar …enjoy! The Brett Davern Show is streamed LIVE daily at 10am (eastern) 7am (pacific) on idobi Radio at https://idobi.com. Follow Brett on social media @BDavv, Katie : @KatieLeclerc, the show @BrettDavernShow
The Rockstar Dad Show is back for another hour of entertainment—and this time they’re bringing guest Clinton Sparks along for the whole ride.
Clinton is truly a man who wears many hats, as an entrepreneur, DJ, author, and… well, the list goes on. He’s lived a big life with ups and downs along the way, and he chats with Jaret and Gary about everything from his UPS job to making a start in the music industry.
On top of sharing some information about his upcoming EP Ninety3 and his book How To Win Big In The Music Industry, Clinton talks “dad resumes”, keeping your kids safe in a digital age, and more. You won’t want to miss this conversation, listen in now!
Devin Guisande, donning the mantle of Kyd the Band, is a smart man. He understands the benefit of being clear and distinct in your message.
