Indie-rock group, Mom Jeans has surprised us all today by dropping a new album, Bear Market. Technically the songs aren’t new, but the sound and execution is entirely fresh. Bear Market consists of sixteen popular Mom Jeans tracks completely re-imagined and re-worked into beautiful, new versions. The band has even given each track a different name, while still paying tribute to the original title. For example, “Edward 40Hands” is now just “40 hands“, “Death Cup” is now “death by cup“, and “What’s Up?” is now “wassup đ.” We love the clever approach – recognizable but easily differentiated. âWe had all… Read more »

The horror genre has certainly made a mainstream comeback in recent years with the box office success of films like Hereditary, Nope, A Quiet Place, and M3GAN. A genre that ebbs and flows in popularity with the public, dominating decade’s like the 70’s and 80’s but falling short in the 90’s and early 2000’s, we are lucky to see it widely favored again. In the last five years or so, we have seen many new films hit theatres that are extremely unique and break through the mold of common horror expectations like Barbarian or X. Welcome to Creeperâs vampire era. The English quintet crawled out of the shadows once againâon Friday 13th, no less, to commence a new chapter with their outlandish third album, Sanguivore. The album contains their most grandiose, daring, and dark material to date. Knowing their penchant for all things gothic and ghoulish, telling a story revolving around vampires would seem as natural to them as wearing all-black. But to them, the figure of the vampire means more than sucking blood and skulking around at night. For Creeper and frontman William Von Ghould, the vampire represents rebirth. âWe had the idea a long… Read more »
