XM Satellite Radio will broadcast “The Concert for New York City,” featuring dozens of the biggest names in entertainment, live at 7 pm Saturday on both its VH1 and “Special X” channels. “XM is proud to carry VH1 among its 100 channels of amazing radio, and proud to broadcast Saturday’s benefit concert for New York City,” said XM President and CEO Hugh Panero. ‘NSync was the top musical act at the seventh annual Blockbuster Entertainment Awards Tuesday (April 10) night at L.A.’s Shrine Auditorium, winning Favorite CD (No Strings Attached), Favorite Single (“Bye, Bye, Bye”), and Favorite Pop Group. The major music categories were mostly split, however, with a poodle-haired Christina Aguilera snagging Favorite Female Artist, Eminem taking Favorite Male Artist, and Destiny’s Child walking off with Favorite Group of the Year. Following the release of their single “Afterthought,” and ahead of their expansive spring tour, Super Sometimes has revealed their new track and music video for “Make Up Stories.” Both offerings will appear on their LP, Show the World What’s Underneath, due out on May 15, via Pure Noise Records.
