Emerging in the wake of their compelling dual EP releases, MoonEater and SoulEater, which debuted earlier this month, Magnolia Park entered the idobi Studios in North Hollywood with a mission. Their goal? To create a lush sonic temple for vocalist Joshua Roberts’ infectious voice to bounce off of in tandem with the group’s guitarists, Tristan Torres and Freddie Criales, armed with their acoustics. The Brooklyn-based indie artist, PRONOUN has made her return with a brand new single, “SLAP ME IN THE FACE” today. Accompanied with a music video inspired by one of PRONOUN’s favorite movie scenes, it is quite lovely to have her back after nearly two years. PRONOUN is the alias of Alyse Vellturo, and her last release was 2021’s OMG I MADE IT.
