Lenny Kravitz Tickles Pink For Summer Tour

Lenny Kravitz must be a firm believer in the theory that says a simple, direct approach is most effective. Why else would he call a tour to support his latest album, the rather uncomplicatedly titled Lenny, anything other than the decidedly descriptive Lenny Live? For his first full-scale North American road trip in almost three years, Kravitz, following a European tour and fueled by his current single, “Stillness of Heart,” is set to visit 33 cities beginning July 12 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, according to his publicist. The nearly two-month jaunt winds down September 2 in Phoenix. The last time… Read more »

Now that their onstage cred is firmly established, Sevendust are looking to branch out beyond performance-based videos. The first was for “Live Again,” the next single from the band’s latest album, Animosity. The clip concerns a girl who gets thrown out of her house by her father, who pushes her out the front door as her mother and neighbors stand by watching. “I’ve always been fascinated and disturbed by young people and children that get thrown… Read more »

Are Britney Spears and *NSYNC singer Justin Timberlake still a couple? Well, it depends on who you ask these days. With the surprise U.S. success of Kylie Minogue, Capitol Records is starting to regain its footing in the current release marketplace. I have never had the chance to sing and act in a movie.” Cher, who won a Best Actress Oscar for 1987’s “Moonstruck,” believes musicals could make a comeback following last year’s Oscar-nominated “Moulin Rouge.”… Read more »
