Arriving on the heels of his Fearless Records debut single “synthesizer,” DE’WAYNE has unleashed his brand new track and accompanying video for “lightweight.” “This song is about the UNDERDOG, the lightweight in the fight…” DE’WAYNE shares in a press release. “I wanted to explore the concept of combining boxing and love in the same song. My guest this week is my old friend, old touring mate and fellow Bassist Matt Riddle from Fat Wreck Chords recording artists No Use For A Name. Sum 41 and No Use For A Name did a huge 8-9 week US tour in 2003 so you can bet we talk a lot about the fun and funny times we had on that. On the other side of course we had to talk about the tragic death of No Use For A Name singer Tony Sly as well. The emotions run deep in this one! Don’t miss it.
