This week I have long time friend and tour manager Audrey Wray. I met her when I was in my old band The Bigger Lights, she would come on the road with us from time to time and help sell merch, and was just an all around good hang. I had her come by the studio when she had a little down time from tour managing a Drag Queen tour and for her to tell me how she got her start in the industry that led her to where she is today!
This week we chat with music manager Polina Bogomolova! Polina moved from Russia to study entertainment business at Full Sail University and managed to get an internship at L’Affaire Musicale in Los Angeles. She talks about how L’Affaire Musicale took her under their wing, tour managing, her day to day role as a manager, being on the road with J Worra on the Swedish House Mafia tour, EDC Vegas and what she’s got coming up this year!

It is a cute ongoing joke in the music industry that no matter who you are or how big your band is, you are destined to have at least one “come to Brazil” comment on a tour announcement post. Well, an entire roster of pop-punk bands have finally agreed to do just that, they are coming to Brazil. This line-up is so totally STACKED, it might as well be it’s own little festival. Simple Plan, The All-American Rejects and A Day To Remember are heading to Brazil this coming March for a very special string of performances. However, it doesn’t… Read more »
England’s own Static Dress continuously outdoes themselves every time they share a new release. Today, the metal-forward band released a revamped track and accompanying music video for “Di-sinTer (GLITTER REDUX),” from their forthcoming deluxe LP Rouge Carpet Disaster (Redux) due out on September 15. You can score the pre-order vinyl for the 16-track album right now. Reminiscent of Deftones, the new version of their 2022 track combines myriad sounds of emo, metalcore, and modern rock, ultimately refining its more raw elements. These selections weren’t just songs but portals into Kapara‘s soul and hard work, revealing his unique musical identity characterized by the stripped-back arrangements and a poignant, vulnerable narrative. With the echoes of these compelling performances still… Read more »
Intricately woven and deeply personal, the self-titled release from Sundressed offers an intimate glimpse into the inner workings of frontman Trevor Hedges‘ creative psyche. This artistic endeavor was first set into motion back in 2012 when Hedges embarked on a musical journey under the moniker Sundressed as a means to navigate his own journey of sobriety. Yet, as the sands of time have shifted, so too has the project’s purpose, morphing into a resonant platform that seeks to address critical matters, particularly within the realm of mental health, all while fostering a profound sense of community among its listeners.
