Earlier this month, Spiritbox vocalist Courtney LaPlante revealed in an interview with Revolver that the band had a number of new songs waiting to be unveiled following the release of their 2021 debut full-length, Eternal Blue, and their 2022 EP Rotoscope. Seattle-born/LA-based artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Max Bennett Kelly has shared a brand new song “Superinlove (Roll Credits),” and it is a summer-soaked dream. The track comes as a teaser to his debut EP Junk Male out later this summer via AWAL. Hardcore three-piece Drain have released their boisterous cover of the Descendents’ 1985 single “Good Good Things” via Epitaph Records. The classic punk-rock track which assisted in launching the Descendents into fame was featured on their sophomore album I Don’t Want to Grow Up. Drain’s rendition of “Good Good Things” captures a similar essence as the Descendents’ version, albeit with a more modern punk twist that showcases vocalist Sammy Ciaramitaro’s melodic prowess.
