Following the release of their latest single, “Soft Spine,” which marked their first new music in 2024, Spiritbox has unleashed a striking black-and-white music video to complement the track. The video harnesses and amplifies the track’s aggressive energy, channeling it into a stunning cinematic visual that mirrors the song’s intensity. Spiritbox is back with their first new track of 2024, “Soft Spine” out via Pale Chord in partnership with Rise Records. Previously, the act dropped The Fear of Fear EP in November 2023 as well as their “Cobra” rock remix with Megan Thee Stallion. It is with deep sorrow that we report the sudden passing of Bill Crook, the former bassist of the Spiritbox and the pop-punk act Living With Lions. His death was announced approximately seven hours ago via musician Kai Turmann’s Instagram, in which Turmann shared a heartfelt message of disbelief with fans. Coming off the inevitable high of their eagerly-awaited new collection, The Fear Of Fear, which saw its official release courtesy of Rise Records/Pale Chord on November 2, Spiritbox has extended their creative expression through a series of arrestingly cinematic music videos to coincide with the release. Following their extensive tour with Shinedown and Papa Roach throughout October, Spiritbox is beginning the month of November with the release of their new EP The Fear of Fear and a video, too. The group just dropped “Ultraviolet,” a modern heavy rock hit, with a reflective–literally–new music video. Earlier this month, Spiritbox vocalist Courtney LaPlante revealed in an interview with Revolver that the band had a number of new songs waiting to be unveiled following the release of their 2021 debut full-length, Eternal Blue, and their 2022 EP Rotoscope.
