Atlantic Records names co-presidents


Atlantic Records has named longtime label executives Craig Kallman and Ron Shapiro as the first co-presidents of the Warner Music Group imprint, filling a post that has been vacant since co-chairman and CEO Val Azzoli Azzoli held it six years ago. Both execs will report to Azzoli, who shares his own post with venerable label co-founder Ahmet Ertegun. Maverick, Atlantic Records cut jobs


Maverick Records and Atlantic Records, two labels owned by AOL Time Warner Inc., said Monday they have cut more than 30 jobs combined over the past week. A spokesman for Warner Music said there had been 16 job cuts at Maverick Records over the last week, while Atlantic has also cut about 15 jobs. Anthony Family Makes Pure Noise Records Debut with “101 North”


Making his debut on the Pure Noise Records roster, Anthony Anzaldo unveiled his latest project, Anthony Family with the release of his new single and music video “101 North.”  Anzaldo has been working on Anthony Family for several years.
