Acoustic rock duo Tenacious D will hit the road next month behind their self-titled debut album, starting September 8 at the Town Hall in New York. Punk as an aid for getting in touch with one’s feelings has superseded the other modes evident at this year’s Warped Tour. As in their ordinary lives, these fans had too many options. Warped Tour 2001 closes on Sunday (August 12) in Pontiac, Michigan at the Phoenix Plaza Amphitheater. The tour has been described as a “punk rock summer camp” and this year is no exception.
