Rancid and Pennywise are co-headlining a 10-date tour in September. Supporting bands Suicidal Tendencies, The English Beat, The Aquabats, Turnstile, Iron Reagan (I love that name so much), and Angel Du$t will change depending on the city. The tour isn’t an out of the blue attempt, Rancid and Pennywise have been keeping busy in and out of the studio, consistently playing shows in support of their most recent records. Ian MacKaye To Rock The Rock

To many touring bands, the East Coast of Canada is uncharted territory due to logistical and financial reasons. And in reverse, some Newfoundland acts have never performed outside of their home province. The St. John’s music scene continues to thrive, but longtime scene veteran Liz Pickard says that it’s time for local bands and labels to get their respective acts together and to get some national exposure. As a… Read more »

Sleep Token and Slipknot can’t have all the fun. A new masked, mysterious project has emerged, and the internet is already posting its theories. PRESIDENT first began “campaigning” on social media on February 18, though the YouTube channel was originally created on January 1, 2025. Initially, TikTok users thought that this might be Sleep Token at work with more tunes or that Ghost was revealing more about their new leader. However, some eagle-eyed viewers noticed that Charlie Simpson, an OG member of UK pop-punk band Busted and also frontman of post-hardcore outfit Fightstar, filed a trademark for the band name… Read more »
