Today Flycatcher are breathing a new life into the New Jersey indie scene with the release of their brand new EP Stunt. The collection of songs is produced by the Grammy-nominated, Will Yip. Hardcore three-piece Drain have released their boisterous cover of the Descendents’ 1985 single “Good Good Things” via Epitaph Records. The classic punk-rock track which assisted in launching the Descendents into fame was featured on their sophomore album I Don’t Want to Grow Up. Drain’s rendition of “Good Good Things” captures a similar essence as the Descendents’ version, albeit with a more modern punk twist that showcases vocalist Sammy Ciaramitaro’s melodic prowess. Today, rock legends, Incubus, surprised fans with a massive 29-date US summer tour announcement alongside Badflower and Paris Jackson. The news comes just a few weeks after the band announced a string of UK tour dates that will kick off on June 1 in Berlin, Germany. Tragedy shook the metal community this past Friday evening when the roof of the Apollo Theatre in Belvidere, IL collapsed during a show. At the time, the venue was hosting Morbid Angel, Revocation, Crypta, and Skeletal Remains for the “United States Tour of Terror.” While the featured acts were between sets, a tornado ripped through the area and consequently, the venue. UK pop-punk mainstays Neck Deep have announced two intimate, warm-up shows to kick off Download Festival weekend.
