Papa Roach will infest the U.S. in January on their third headlining tour in almost as many years. Jerry Horton, Dave Buckner, Tobin Esperance and Jacoby Shaddix will set out on a three-month tour, on January 13 in Vancouver, British Columbia, a DreamWorks spokesperson said. Only the first leg of the tour has been confirmed, though the band is expected to then travel up the East Coast, into Canada, and then across the Northern U.S. before wrapping up in Sacramento in mid-April. Billy Corgan’s post-Smashing Pumpkins group Zwan has signed to Reprise and will release its debut album in late January or early February, a spokesperson confirms. The group features Corgan on guitar and vocals, former Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin, former Chavez guitarist Matt Sweeney, ex-Slint guitarist David Pajo, and bassist Paz Lenchantin, previously a member of A Perfect Circle. Veteran U.K. rock outfit Primal Scream has set a Nov. 26 North American release date for its domestic Epic debut, “Evil Heat.” The album, which features contributions from Robert Plant, Kate Moss, My Bloody Valentine’s Kevin Shields, and the Jesus And Mary Chain’s Jim Reid, was released in August in the group’s homeland. The North American release of “Evil Heat” will be accompanied by a DVD featuring 45 minutes of bonus material.
