This week I have long time friend and drummer Chris Kamrada from the band Dashboard Confessional, I first was introduced to him by JR from Less Than Jake when JR was managing Kamrada’s band “There For Tomorrow.” Chris and I then for many years would be up for a lot of the same drumming gigs and would tour along side each other, we got to know each other on the road but I brought him on to get the story of how he got to where he is today.

The Baltimore-based hardcore outfit, Turnstile have decided to experiment in the world of pop-punk on their newest song. However, can it even really been coined a Turnstile song? The group created a totally fake new band called The Everything-You-Knows to release the song “Listening” via Netflix’s hit comedy series I Think You Should Leave. Fans wouldn’t even know the song was created by Turnstile if it weren’t for the end of the episode crediting Brendan Yates, Pat McCrory, Daniel Fang and Franz Lyons as the writers and performers behind the track.
