Bands covering other bands! Emo act Ben Quad has covered their label and tourmates Arm’s Length’s song, “In Loving Memory,” via Wax Bodega. The act repurposes the original song into a faster rendition, with a concoction of modern pop-punk that’s infused with original emo riffs. Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival is back for its sixth year in a row, and its 2024 lineup is positively stacked. The festival teased Bad Omens as a headliner days before the official full lineup announcement, and that teaser alone was met with major excitement. Running July 19-21, the famous Inkcarceration is, of course, taking place at The Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield. YUNGBLUD, aka Dom Harrison, and Lil Yachty just shared a brand-new behind-the-scenes look for their recent track and music video, “When We Die (Can We Still Get High?).” The artists and their video crew headed into a forest and showed the structure YUNGBLUD was on to simulate a slow fall toward the leaf-covered Earth. Dunes officially announced their forthcoming track “How Dare You.” The track will be out on all streaming platforms next week on Wednesday, February 14. EDM DJ Illenium isn’t a stranger to the alternative scene. During his Los Angeles, CA, shows on February 2 and 3 at SoFi Stadium, he brought out several special guests. The tour is to support his self-titled independent release, which arrived last spring. Illenium’s exploration into the alt scene isn’t unheard of. Turnstile is heading overseas! The indie-hardcore act is heading to Europe to rip some gigs this June. Fans can sign up for pre-sale through their local venue on Thursday, February 8, with general sale on Friday, February 9 at 10 AM local time.
