The 1975 is going across the pond on an exciting headline tour this fall to continue supporting their 2022 record, Being Funny In A Foreign Language. Titled the “Still…At Their Very Best North America Tour,” the rockstars will embark on a 38-date run to arenas and festivals nationwide. After 22 years together, Derek Grant, the drummer of Alkaline Trio, has parted ways with the band. In a statement posted to the band’s official social accounts earlier today, June 8, Grant shared the following. “It is with mixed emotions that I’ve decided to step-down as drummer for Alkaline Trio.” The post continues, “The demands of being in a touring band have become increasingly difficult in recent years, and while this was a difficult decision to make, it’s the best thing for me and my mental health.
