Darrin’s heartfelt tribute to one of his biggest drumming/musical influences… Neil Peart of Rush.
Guest drummers speaking about Neil and his influence on the show include:
Fred Armisen (SNL alumni), Dean Butterworth (Morrissey, Good Charlotte, Sugar Ray), Kenny Aronoff (John Cougar, John Fogerty), Ray Luzier (Korn), Pat Wilson (Weezer), Stewart Copeland (The Police), Thomas Lang, Stephen Perkins (Jane’s Addiction, Porno For Pyros), Phillip “Fish” Fisher (Fishbone, Justin Timberlake, House of Pain, Lady Antebellum, and Christina Aguilera).
Molly joins Waldman’s Words to talk about Good Charlotte, past touring, and writing.
This week, Fish is joined by his little sister Guppy (er, Amanda), and chats about his first sixty hours in New York, Jeffree Star, and Good Charlotte.
New project from Good Charlotte’s Joel and Benji Madden, The Madden Brothers, proves yet again they’re brilliant songwriters who know just how to hook us in, whether the genre’s pop, folk, acoustic, or anything in between.
