Tori Amos's 'Strange Little Girls' Debuts At Number Four


Tori Amos’s latest effort, Strange Little Girls, will debut at Number Four on the forthcoming Billboard 200 album chart. The album has sold more than 110,000 copies in its first week of release. Strange Little Girls features Amos’s interpretations of Neil Young’s “Heart Of Gold,” Tom Waits’ “Time,” Eminem’s “’97 Bonnie & Clyde,” Depeche Mode’s “Enjoy The Silence,” and Slayer’s “Raining Blood,” among others. Zomba Gets Some Mojo To Beef Up Roster


Zomba Recording Corp., home of Jive Records acts Britney Spears, ‘N Sync and Backstreet Boys, has acquired indie label Mojo Records as part of a push to diversify its artist roster and beef up its catalog offerings. The purchase gives closely held Zomba such perennial ska-punk favorites as Goldfinger and Reel Big Fish. Modern Rockers Bush Contemplate Changing Lyric Due To Terror Attacks


Altering the title of Bush’s new single-“Speed Kills” to “The People That We Love”-might not be the only change Bush has to make on its forthcoming album Golden State.
