Songs 4 Worship The Tour Set For Fall 2001

Proper Management, in conjunction with GET Management and the Creative Artist Agency, announces the Songs 4 Worship – The Tour set for this fall with 10 shows in 10 days beginning on Oct. 11, featuring worship leaders Michael W. Smith, Darlene Zschech, Don Moen, Nicole C. Mullen, Caedmon’s Call and Watermark.

“Worship music is a true passion of mine,” said Smith, who is releasing his first worship project on Sept. 11, “so to be on tour with this group is such an honor. We are all going to be on stage together every night with the goal of corporate worship, so what makes this tour unique is that the audience is just as much a part of this tour as we are.” The Songs 4 Worship tour is the first time that these artists and worship leaders have all appeared together, working as a team to lead audiences into worship. Big screens will not only show image magnification of the stage, but will have a special PowerPoint presentation of worship song lyrics for audience participation.

“Many years ago, Matthew Henry wrote in his commentary on Psalm 34 that ‘God’s praises sound best in concert,”‘ says Norman Miller, of Proper Management. “I believe that this statement is as true today as it was then. I can’t wait to hear many of today’s best known worship leaders and writers of my favorite praise and worship songs, lead us in worship in the company of thousands of believers in some of America’s major arenas.”

The Tour is an extension of the best-selling Songs 4 Worship TV continuity series, a partnership between Integrity Music and Time Life Music. Initially, the tour will travel to 10 major markets including Philadelphia, Chicago, Cleveland and St. Louis.

Time Life Music and Integrity Music will support the Songs 4 Worship – The Tour by tapping into their large Songs 4 Worship databases sending out postcard mailings in each of the tour markets. Integrity Music also plans to market the tour through direct mail shipments as well as email updates, print advertising, instore point-of-purchase materials and on their www.integritymusic.com website. Integrity Music is also developing a Songs4Worship.com website.
