Lil Wayne, Coldplay lead Grammy nominees


He had one of the biggest opening sales weeks of 2008, and now, Lil Wayne is the year’s most-nominated Grammy contender. LOS ANGELES — Bono’s adding to his résumé for sainthood. Travis Barker, DJ AM to reunite for performance


LOS ANGELES -— Punk musician Travis Barker and celebrity disc jockey DJ AM will perform together for the first time since the duo survived a fiery plane crash in South Carolina. Three weeks after narrowly surviving a Learjet plane crash that killed four people in South Carolina, including two of his pals, Travis Barker posted a message on his MySpace blog expressing gratitude for the outpouring of support he and fellow survivor DJ AM have received through their ordeal and giving an update on his condition. Just one week after the fatal plane crash that left DJ AM critically injured, a rep for the Hollywood spinner confirms that the artist otherwise known as Adam Goldstein has been released from the hospital. Officer: Ex-Blink 182 Drummer in Intense Pain


One of the first responders to a fiery South Carolina plane crash said Wednesday that a pair of musicians escaped the flaming wreckage by sliding down the wing. “They said the plane went down. They didn’t say how or if they knew,” said Lt.
