Today Greta Van Fleet have announced a world tour kicking off this May and running through September 2024 to support new music. Earlier this month, the band announced their highly-anticipated new album, Starcatcher, and dropped the lead single “Meeting The Master“. The new album is set to release July 21st via Lava/Republic/EMI. Foo Fighters have announced six additional dates to their upcoming US headline tour kicking off this May. The new dates will take place in August, September, and October in Spokane, WA, Salt Lake City, UT, Lake Tahoe, NV, Virginia Beach, VA, Phoenix, AZ, and El Paso, TX. The Breeders are set to open during the Washington, Utah, Nevada and Virginia shows. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 14 at 10AM local time. Sadly, it may be a moment before we receive any substantial news from the members of Rage Against The Machine in regard to their rescheduled European and North American tour dates. After vocalist Zach De la Rocha sustained a leg injury in Chicago during the band’s US reunion tour in July, he persevered through the remainder of the tour performing while seated. Unfortunately, due to the severity of Zach De la Rocha’s Achilles tear, the band was forced to cancel their European show dates and their 2023 North American tour dates. This week I have the man of all trades Dorian Neidhardt, he works for Meinl Cymbals as an A&R person as well as Tama Drums over in Germany! He also is a drum tech, tour manager, and play drums for River Becomes Ocean(I had his singer Marvin on the show before). He was my tour manager for bands Icon For Hire & IDKHOW in Europe, and we’ve been great friends ever since. I learn about how he got started to how he ended up where he is today, we also share stories from the road together.
