Brooklyn, NY-based punk trio Sorry Mom have released a brand new track “Shaving My Legs” from their upcoming debut full-length album babyface out May 12th. What started as a group of college friends playing music together quickly evolved into something bigger. The femme punk band chronicles queer experiences and suburban despair through a nostalgic punk sound, and this new track kicks off immediately with a driving beat and distorted guitars. Hey Monday fans rejoice, Cassadee Pope is back! Fans have long awaited Pope’s return to pop-punk after her band Hey Monday called it quits in December 2011 following the re-release of the group’s sophomore EP Candles earlier that year. Following their split, Pope had a storied career in country music after she took home a victory title for The Voice season 3 and even briefly reunited with Hey Monday in 2019 for a Nashville hometown show. Today De’Wayne took to instagram to announce a string of headline shows surrounding his upcoming tour supporting grandson and K.Flay. It comes as no surprise that De’Wayne would be opening for grandson, as they released a super cool collaborative track, “GOOD MOOD” together last year.
