NEW YORK – Barely a year after it opened in Soho, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum’s New York annex is closing. The Cleveland-based parent Hall of Fame confirmed Friday that its New York affiliate, which required a $9 million investment and was part of a broader expansion plan, will shut its doors on Jan. 3.

Moments before the opening curtain of “American Idiot,” the musical theater debut of the punk band Green Day, a t-shirted house manager took the stage at Berkeley Repertory Theater for the tradition of reminding audience members to turn off their cellphones and unwrap their candies. Coroner’s office investigators found lethal levels of the fast-acting, powerful anesthetic Propofol in Michael Jackson’s body, a search warrant unsealed Monday in Houston revealed. The documents reportedly quote the Los Angeles County coroner’s office conclusion after Jackson’s autopsy, according to the Los Angeles Times, although L.A.
